Low cost style: Foxy weekend
O fim de semana está no seu auge, e porque não pensar numa saída à noite, em modo glam and foxy? Talvez (aliás, de certeza!) a temperatura ainda não permite explorar casacos de pêlo sintético e pseudo-plumas, mas fica a idéia para quando o Outono regressar em força (tarda, mas não falha!). Tudo em modo lowcost, à excepção dos produtos de beleza, bem mais upscale: giorgio armani, a minha marca favorita de make up. Tenho umas novas aquisições sobre as quais tenho de falar muito em breve, a ver se (re)começo a ter mais tempo e disponibilidade para este blog, bem desprezado ultimamente!
Weekend is at its peak, so, let's think about a foxy-glam girls night out? Here in Lisbon is definitely to hot for this jacket, but in a few weeks, Autumn will come back in all its glory, so it's time to prepare the glam. ;) All in lowcost mode, exception made to the beauty products, from my all time fav make up brand Giorgio Armani - I actually have some new thing to show you from this brand.. hopefully I have the time to post a bit more, these last weeks were more work and less fun!

Céline Color board
Inspirada pelo desfile Primavera-Verão de Phoebe para Céline, onde o inesperado padrão gráfico de inspiração fim-de-anos-80/arte-de-rua brilhou, aqui vai uma idéia colorida num dia cinzento. Como combinar a versão Zara deste grafismo e assimetria? Sugiro, como habitual: dress up e dress down. Sobrancelhas carregadas, os lábios nude, a mala (estilo saco) vai na mão e não no ombro, mules nos pés e vamos lá!
Straight from the Céline Paris SS14 runway, here's my very own adaptation to this graphic, late-80's/street-art inspired print, as already copied by Zara. Dressing down or dressing up, this patterns maintains its cool vibe. Just remember: carry the bag in your hand instead of shoulder, dark eyebrows, nude lips, mules on your feet. Then your ready to go!

Low cost style: not-so-casual work
E porque não ir trabalhar com um visual mais tendência, sem exagerar, mas sem jogar pela aposta clássica e segura blazer e/ou calças de tecido? É um visual facilmente adpatado a diferentes cenários, sem perder a compustura. Eu ainda arriscaria um cinto preto por cima do casaco.. :)
So why not going to work with a trendy look, not over the top, but escaping from the classic blazer/suit? This is a combo prepared for different scenarios, without making you embarassed. Still, I would love to throw a black belt on top of that coat :)

White shirt: preppy
Outono é a estação de excelência para a combinação de calções com botas. O toque boémio, como imortalizado por Isabel Marant, com um toque rústico-vintage, é uma excelente opção. Mas confesso nada faz bater mais o coração do que o conjuntinho mais preppy, com um toque ligeiramente masculino. Sim, vamos fingir que seria a Alexa Chung por um dia. Sim, claro.
Aqui a "estrela" ainda é a camisa branca, desta vez em versão "crop", pela cintura, óptima para combinar com peças de cintura subida, sem comprometer a silhueta. Esta é da Maison Martin Margiela e é linda, linda!!
Fall is the perfect season for the "short-booties" combo. I really like the boho touch as Isabel Marant's masterclass, with a slightly vintage touch, however, my heart lays on the more preppy side of it. So let's pretend I am Alexa Chung for the day. Oh yes, sure.
I just need to finish by pointing out how amazing this white shirt from Maison Martin Margiela is, cropped to perfection, perfect with hight waisted shorts, skirts or trousers! Gorgeous!

Ceremony ... pants?
Aficcionada desse traje que é um bom par de calças, quantas vezes já me apeteceu usar umas calças de cerimónia? Imensas vezes. Mas a verdade é que, além dos macacões, é difícil encontrar um par de calças polido mas com um toque de cerimónia. Aí J. Crew dá um show. Ou não seria Jenna Lyons uma verdadeira mestre da arte de usar calças de cerimónia. Esta seria a minha versão. Todinha assim. *suspiro*
Being a self-proclamed pants-obsessed female, so many times I had the urge to surpass the typical ceremony dress and change it for a good pair of ceremony pants. Ceremony pants? Is that something? J. Crew's designer Jenna Lyons sure showed that it is actually something to look for. This could be my very own version. All of it. *sigh*
