As if

 Vamos fingir que hoje, num abençoado dia de Verão de 30ºC eu estava aqui. Neste sítio fantástico, com sol, praia deserta e mar de temperatura convidativa. Mas não, hoje vai ser dia de ir para aqui! Não é naaaada mau, mas estive lá ontem e senti tanta, mas tanta falta de uma sombrinha ;)

Let's pretend that today, in this 30ºC Summer day, I was here. But no, actually today I'll be here! I'm not complaining (at all!!), but yesterday I really felt the need to have a cooler place to hang out back there.

Manhã cedinho, despreocupada a beber o sumo de papaia antes de ir fazer snorkeling nos corais da Pink Beach. Podia haver mais dias assim. Muitos dias assim. Tudo neste sítio convida a desconectar do resto do mundo. Isto para não falar no facto de não haver rede telefónica nem wifi nem TV. Uma inesperada libertação. 

Early morning, drinking my papaya juice before doing some snorkeling by the coral reef at the Pink Beach. I wish there were more days like this. Lots of days like this. All about this place means disconnect from the rest of the world. Worth mentioning the fact that there's no cellphone reception, nor wifi, nor tv. Liberating.

Deep blue

Perdi o medo de fazer combinações totais de uma cor, principalmente em tons diferentes. Aqui o azul profundo com um padrão, com o azul profundo da ganga. E o azul do mar ao fundo encerra magistralmente todo este azul, quebrado descaradamente pelas sandálias "castanho-avermelhado", que nas fotos parecerem vermelhas, mas têm um tom tão difícil de caracterizar.. 

As fotos foram tiradas em Lombok e sim, temos mesmo de falar sobre este sítio. Fantástico.

I lost my fear of matching same color pieces. I thought it was to matchy-matchy then, but for some years that I'm combining different shades of the same color I love it more and more. Here the deep blue was the star, along the sea blue, that sets just perfect. The "cut" was performed by those reddish-brown sandals, a color so difficult to translate in one word only (and now, they're not burgundy).

These photos were taken in Lombok, and we really need to talk more about this place. Amazing.
