Low-cost style: minimal grunge

Dar ao estilo grunge um toque minimalista foi bem mais fácil do que inicialmente pensei. bastou trocar a camisa aos quadrados pela camisa azul, os calções rasgados por uma saia drapeada e a t-shirt com logotipo de uma banda por uma frase com tanto de pragmático como enigmático. Para finalizar só falta mesmo o casaco de ganga :)

This was a lot easier than expected. How knew that merely changing the squared shit for a blue one, the oversized ripped shorts for a draped skirt and the band-logo shirt for a white one, with an enigmatic sentence you could change the all soul of an outfit? The only thing missing is the denim jacket on top :)

Work with color

Apesar de gostar de ténis adidas brancos, calças de ganga estilo boyfriend, alpergatas e t-shirts 2 tamanhos acima, a verdade é que tudo isso se resume ao fim-de-semana e às férias. Durante a semana de trabalho as escolha são diferentes, mas igualmente na minha zona de conforto: blazers, tops de seda, calças de corte direito. Como neste dia, com um dos meus blazers favoritos e um top colorido para equilibrar a tendência monocromática. 

I'm so into white sneakers, boyfriend jeans and XL shirts, but those are my choices for the weekend or vacations, on my daily-working routine I choose differently, but still on my comfort zone. This is one of those days: a blazer, straight cut pants and a colored top just to even the monochrome.

Low cost style: Full Spring

Pensando numa transição para a Primavera, onde a amplitude térmica faz com que o "vestir em camadas" seja absolutamente necessário, aqui vão as minhas escolhas, que eu ando a babar.. Não resisti às sandálias, e o resto só ainda não habita a minha morada porque o mundo real chama por mim! Mas o casaco de ganga oversized.. hmmmm...  bem, não custa nada ficar com a inspiração :)

I'm craving that sweet Spring weather that's almost here, for sure.. For now, layering is still the best way to adjust to the temperature bipolarity. Retro feel

Não resisti nem um segundo quando vi esta camisola de malha com mangas 3/4 em forma de sino. Estou sempre à procura de um clássico re-inventado e aqui encontrei a minha dose certa, que funciona bem com calças boca-de-sino e plataformas, ou com capris e sandálias rasas. Será certamente uma das melhores amigas para esta Primavera-Verão. 

I didn't resist not even for a second as soon as I tried this knit, with the perfect flared 3/4 length sleeves. I'm always looking for a reinvented classic and here I found out just the perfect match, to wear either with flared pants and platforms or cropped pants and flat sandals. Here's one of my best friend this Spring, for sure.

Em 2013 as jardineiras e as bermudas regressaram em força (ver aqui) . Para quem pensava que a tendência ia esmorecer, bem, as colecções Primavera-Verão provam o contrário. Pelo menos para as bermudas, este ano um pouco mais compridas e ainda mais largas. Eu até estou sintonizada, mas cá em casa a opinião não é unânime :) Aqui vão algumas ideias para quem estiver com vontade de arriscar, em modo low-cost.

Não será novidade para quem vem espreitar este blog que o corte masculino é um dos meus fracos. A sensação de "puxa daqui, puxa dali, ajusta acolá" de uma peça justa tira-me da zona de conforto e faz-me rapidamente perder a paciência. Aqui, abusei. Peguei nas minhas peças oversized e lá fui eu, passar um domingo despreocupado. Como deve ser. 

If you from time to time, stumble in this blog, you may know by now that the masculine fit is one of my favorites. So here I am totally in my comfort zone. Too much, maybe, with my oversized coat, shirt and boyfriend jeans. Perfect for a lazy Sunday.

The LBD

Poucas peças são tão clássicas como o vestidinho preto, um fiel companheiro que salva qualquer crise de guarda-roupa. Mais fácil ainda quando o próprio vestido tem um brilhozinho que dispensa acessórios. Vestir, calçar e sair. E este vestido tem o corte que mais gosto: mangas 3/4 e corte evasé. 

The LBD is the most important item in a woman's wardrobe. A true rescuer for every wardrobe crisis, specially when you have a early dinner after work. If it has just the right amount of bling, even better: no need to waste more time into accessorizing. Dress and go. This is my favourite silhouette: 3/4 sleeves and A-line cut.
