2 coats, one love

Lindos, lindos, estes dois casacos a contrariar o preto ou azul tão dominantes nas colecções de Outono 2013. Exactamente o que me apetecia usar no próximo Outono (ou já, já!). Têm o comprimento perfeito, os tons pastéis que adoro no inverno (desculpem estar a repetir-me), a espessura ideal (para os sortudos dos países mais solarengos), o botão necessário (e único!) e  o corte casulo, com ombros descaídos.. versátil, a minha prerrogativa. Ai Céline, Céline. Oh la la. 

How amazing are these two coats?! Far away from the black and navy, so AW 2013, but just what I would love to wear next fall (or asap). Love the pastel shades during winter (sorry, I'm repeating myself), the right thickness for a winter coat in a sunny country like mine, the needed-only-button and that laid-back cocoon shape... versatile, my prerogative. Oh Céline, Céline. Oh, la la.

Being real

Quer queira, quer não, esta é a minha realidade actual: roupa de conforto. A melhor amiga destes últimos tempos tem sido loungewear e roupa confortável em todos os sentidos. Fartinha, fartinha. Tanta coisa por estrear (ainda do Natal ?!). Ah mas isto vai acabar. Não tarda nada. 

Wether I like or not, this is my current fashion-mood: comfort above it all. My best friend right now is loungewear or comfortable pieces. Can't wait to have an excuse to finally use some of my Christmas gifts (!?) that are still waiting. But this will end. Soon.

Trend: Skirt/dress over trousers

Clara tendência: a saia/vestido sobre calças. Fiquei atenta a esta tendência há tempos (ver aqui) e o facto é que pegou. Captou a atenção nas colecções Primavera-Verão (Etro e Alberta Ferretti), brilhou na colecção de alta costura de Giambattista Valli e eis que em vários desfiles de Outono-Inverno, lá estão ela! Os meus favoritos: BCBG Max Azria e Dries Van Noten. Quem está disposto a testar? Eu já testei em modo monocromátrico! Para mostrar em breve :) 

A clear trend: Skirt/dress over trousers. I start following this shy-trend a while back (see here) and the truth is that you can find here in so many different collections! For SS 2013, Etro and Alberta Ferretti caught my attention with the trend, then Giambattista Valli showed us their Couture approach (how great is that?!) and well, the rest is history: Fall 2013 show it several times so far that the mix is here to stay, my favorites by BCBG Max Azria and Dries Van Noten.   Who is willing to try? Tenho este post preparado há tanto tempo, ficou aqui à espera, à espera... às vezes quando isto acontece, depois já não me apetece, parece que passou o momento. Mas com o visual branco-integral não passa. Tão clean, fresco, elegante.. certeiro. Sempre. 

So this one is on the oven for soooo kong, waiting, waiting... Sometimes when this happens, I don't feel like posting it, usually I feel that the moment has passed. But that doesn't happen to an all-white ensemble. So clean, so fresh, elegant... Right on the spot. Always.
