My very long coat

Cá está ele - o meu sobretudo que só deixa os calcanhares de fora eheh. Tem qualquer coisa como 14 aninhos, e estava impecavelmente guardado na casa da Mãe, à espera de uma oportunidade para sair do armário eheh. E apareceu! A minha Mãe ficou muito céptica quando lhe peguei e olhou para mim com aquele ar de quem acha que eu apenas ia mudar o casaco de um lado para o outro. "Usar? Tenho que ver para acreditar!" Pois bem, aqui está! E é para repetir. :) 

Here it is- my very long coat, that only stops to meet my ankles ahah. It has something like 14 years old, and was impeccably  kept at my Mom's, waiting for an opportunity to get out of the closet. eheh. And here it is! My Mom was rather skeptical, throwing that look "I know you're only moving that coat around". But hey, here it is! And here am I, wearing it, 14 years after! And I shall repeat :)

Last minute wishes

Qualquer uma destas prendinhas podia cair no meu sapatinho, garanto que ainda há espaço :) 

Each of these items could fall into my Christmas sock,  I guarantee there is some space left :)

(Só de olhar para esta selecção salta à vista a minha fixação em  camisas e blazers traçados, queda natural, não me perguntem porquê!)
1. Zara - experimentei e aprovei, acreditem que o padrão é bem mais bonito ao vivo! E tem a particularidade de funcionar como casaco quando aberta.. fica muuuito cool!
2. Mango - ando a namorar este blazer há uns bons meses, desde que o vi no site, nunca o experimentei e nem sequer vi ao vivo, mas algo me diz que o corte e comprimento são totalmente perfeitos!
3. Zara - Experimentei o fato integral, e mais valia não o ter feito, apesar de imaginar que não o usaria muitas vezes como fato, cada uma das peças isoladamente é igualmente fantástica. Outro dos meus "namoros" recentes.
4. Crème de La mer - este creme tem a particularidade de ter uma textura mais cremosa do que o creme original, não sendo necessário aquecer entre os dedos. Já usei o creme la Mer original e o gel e este é incomparavelmente melhor! É verdade que é bastante caro, mas dura muito mais do que a maioria dos cremes! Dica: se alguém for ao aeroporto de Amsterdão, ficam a saber que o creme lá custa menos 40€ do que cá.. dá para entender?!

(A quick glance will immediately inform you about my fixation on double-breast blazers and shirts, it's my nature, don't ask me why!) 
1. Zara - Tested and approved, believe me when I say that the pattern is so much nicer in real person. It also totally works as a jacket! So cool!
2. Mango - I've been looking at this blazer ever since I saw it online, few months ago, never seen it, never tried it, but still, what a great color, shape and length! Sounds perfect. 
3. Zara - I tried the all suite, I shouldn't. Even though I don't see myself using it as a suite on regular basis, both pieces work great with other combos. 
4. Crème de La Mer - this one is more smooth than the original one, so there's no need in finger-rubing first! Yey! I've used the original and gel creme, and this is far better! For those of you in the USA or Canada, the prize is a bit more friendly than here in Europe. Strangely, at Schipol Airport in Amsterdam, this cost 40€ less!

Quem não se recorda das míticas séries e filmes dos anos 90, num qualquer high-school americano, na altura em que eram atirados os primeiros estereótipos: a miúda da claque, a miúda cujos pais eram ricos e deixavam a casa livre para festas, o miúdo que roubava o carro da mãe, sempre descapotável, para impressionar outra qualquer miúda, também rica e a passar por um drama familiar (o pai afinal vai ter de ir trabalhar para Chicago, com um salário 3 vezes maior), e o miúdo, jogador de futebol, bom de coração e mau de cabeça. Na altura de Beverly Hills 90210, ser popular era cool, ao contrário do protagonismo anti-cool de Glee. A evolução impunha-se. Mas algumas das impressões digitais do cool-anos 90 voltaram agora, 20 anos depois, em força. Voltou o Varsity, ou seja, tudo o que nos remete para o estilo escolar desportivo escolar, blusões, sweat-shirts, t-shirts.  No feminino  e  no masculino.
Lembro-me tão bem de um blusão da minha irmã que eu aspirava um dia poder usar.. claro que quando eu já tinha altura para me enfiar no blusão, o comboio da moda tinha atropelado a tendência! Juro que o procurei, mas ainda não encontrei. Ah, mas vou encontrar!
Até lá, deixo-vos com a nova interpretação do estilo Varsity, à qual eu confesso que já aderi!

I grew up believing that being popular was cool, after all, I am a daughter of the generation Beverly Hills 90210, as opposed to the current anti-popular cool  Glee cast. All those american high scholl stereotypes were somewhat fascinating, and I could picture myself as a histerical cheerleader .. or maybe not! Either way, I have a crush on the varsity vibe, the big sweaters, t-shirts and bombers. o I craved my sister's varsity bomber, but when I eventually had grown enough to use it, fashion train had crushed the trend. Now everything's changed: I will find that bomber at my mum's someday, oh yes I will! Until then, here's the Varsity trend in all its strength! I must confess that I could not resist and already bought a varsity-sweater!
