Wide and wider

Pouca coisa apela mais ao meu sentido estético gutural do que uma peça leve, que não prende nem circunscreve o corpo. Por isso, quando vi estas calças largas, com pinças (não confundir com as palazzo, que abrem na porção inferior da perna) soube que não valia a pena contrariar o instinto. E para baralhar ainda mais a noção anatómica de dimensão, conjuguei com uma das minhas compras favoritas no stock-off que mencionei aqui e com top que é tão cópia que a consciência permitiu-me apostar novamente no preto e não no crú. 

My gutural sense leans towards a flowy fabric, that surfaces the body without showing it. As soon as I saw these wide pants (different from the palazzo pants, that opens wide in the knees), I knew I could help but buying them. Statement was made by throwing an unexpected wide cropped jacket, mixing the notions of body anatomy. The top is such a copycat that my conscious didn't allow to go for the off-white version.

Dreaming on basics

O catálogo da Filippa K está tão apetecível que não resisti em abusar do copy-paste. Na verdade, este "jejum" de compras reforçou a importância de ter bons básicos disponíveis no armário, feminino ou masculino. Confesso que estou fartinha de borbotos e de tops com ar gasto à terceira lavagem. Investir em bons básicos para uns aninhos vs investir em básicos quase todos os anos. Não é uma escolha linear e divagar por aqui não ajuda ;)

Fillipa K's lookbook is so alluring that I couldn't help but "copy-paste" it all. This shopping fasting made even more clearer the need for a good palette of basics in a woman or man's closet. I'm tired of shredded tops after 3 months and pilling sweaters. The call is: invest in a good basic or buy it every single year. Tough call, specially when I wonder around.. ;)
