Two worlds (not) colliding

Nenhum mal vem ao mundo por abusar um pouco mais dos brilhos. Pensei isto ao ver a colecção Lanvin SS14, onde o contraste dos visuais power-glitz e o branco-e-preto minimalista conviveram pacificamente. Se pensava que quem usa a primeira não usaria a segunda e vice-versa, agora já não. Talvez todas nós, mesmo as mais minimalistas, têm uma disco-diva a habitar por dentro. Uma disco diva com um ar parisiense com os seus lenços e casacos estruturados. 

No harm can be done if you overdo lamé. I thought this when I looked up at Lanvin SS14 collection, where the contrast between lamé head-to-toe and minimal black had a pacific meeting downtown. If I was of those utterly snob opinionists that defend the "this or that" divison of the fashion world, well, not anymore. Maybe we all have a disco diva happily living inside us. Except this one is from Paris and likes her lamé scarves and structured coats.

Hoje partilho um video que é uma deliciosa forma de satirizar o chamado "mundo da moda", entre uma luta renhida para ser a próxima estrela, nas lutas de street style para ver quem aparece mais, quem usa a tendência mais fresca, mais única ... Eis que Minnie, a própria, aparentemente uma fashionista de olho aberto à moda, é musa de Alber Elbaz. A Minnie tem um vestido Lanvin. Ahaha.
