O top que foi a paixoneta imediata da nova colecção da Zara foi comigo de férias. Adorei tudo: a renda, a cor, o tecido, o padrão.

The beach series

Depois de uns diazitos de férias na praia que foram para lá de fantásticos, tenho algum "material" com aquele que é o meu "estilo" em versão praia. Não surpreendentemente, o minimalista ganha. Evito usar acessórios (devo ser a única pessoa que acha uma seca tirar 20 pulseiras antes de ir ao mar, ou então ficar com mancha de níquel no punho), uso sempre chapéu (desta vez este foi o meu eleito) e sou uma fã incondicional de comprar roupa para a praia em mega-saldo. Este vestido, da colecção de Inverno (!) não foi excepção. ;)

After a few days on the beyond amazing Porto Santo's beach, I finally have some material of my "beach style". Non surprisingly, minimalism is my choice: I tend  to avoid acessories, even though I really like to see a stacked-bracelet-arm, I don't have the patient to have to remove them before a dive, but the nickel spots are not my cup of tea either. I always wear a hat (this one was my weekend-fav) and have a special satisfaction on buying beach-outfits on sale. This dress was no exception, bought on January (!), from the winter collection :)

The new retro

Continuo a ser um pouco tradicional nas minhas escolhas de praia, nada bate o velhinho e confortável modelo de biquini triangular/ com alças (reconheço as vantagens do cai-cai mas na hora de mergulhar.. Ops!!). Como já disse antes, tambem me rendi aos fatos-de-banho! Mas e os biquinis "retro", estão rendidas? quão apetecíveis são estes biquinis, com um twist bem actual? Um mimo!! ;)

I'm still somewhat traditional on my bathing suit options, my favorite is usually the good old triangular shape bikini (strapless means extra-care while diving at the ocean)! Like I said before, I'm also a big fan of bathing suits, but what about the retro-bikini wave? Do you dare? How do you feel about these, with a modern twist? Such a cutie!!

A culpa é da Vogue. Sai a Vogue Setembro no pico de Agosto e de repente estou a viajar. Casacos rosa pálido, caxemira cinza e as botas pretas adequadas a qualquer estação e a mochila. Oh, levem-me para a Place Vendôme, por favor. Mas deixem-me primeiro na Carrapateira, tá? (ver aqui)

Blam it on Vogue. Septmeber's isseu is out there and suddenly I'm travelling. Pink pale coats, grey cashemere, all-year-round boots and that backpack.. Please, take me to Place Vendôme. But first a quick stop at Carrapateira (see: here)

Wings

Foi dia de estrear o brinco (sim, do par só vou mesmo usar um!) que já há algum tempo esperava, pacientemente, na caixinha das coisas e coisinhas. Combinado com um modelito totalmente previsível, com 3 das minhas cores de segurança: cinza, branco e preto. Na vizinhança percebe-se que foi dia de arraial, o que significa que a época de Verão está oficialmente aberta. Em breve prometo looks com mais inspiração de Verão.

So finally I decided to try one of my new pair of earrings and their ear-full-coverage! So predictable, you may think, me and my safe color: gray, black and white. What can I say, being me is rather easy! :) As you can see, there was a party in my neighborhood, so I can say that Summer season is officially open. Do expect some more Summer looks soon. :)
